Privacy Policy
Effective: 25 October 2026 · Applies to HNK Guardian X Android v0.3.0 and its current pre-release code
Who we are
HNK Guardian X is a utility developed by HNK Technologies. For questions or privacy requests, contact vadim.hanukaev1981@gmail.com.
Information processed on the device
The app reads available and total device RAM, internal storage capacity, battery charge, battery temperature and thermal status, device manufacturer and model, Android version, and available CPU core count.
The app keeps up to 48 recent RAM and battery measurements and the user's diagnostic-code compatibility notes in local Android app preferences. It does not require an account or upload this data.
Collection, sharing and third parties
The current version does not request Internet access and does not transmit device measurements or your diagnostic notes to us. There are no ad networks, analytics SDKs, user accounts or third-party data sharing. It does not sell personal information.
Permissions and actions
The Android VIBRATE permission is used only when you choose the vibration test. Diagnostic codes are shown and copied to the Android clipboard only on request. They are not dialed by the app. Sound tests generate a short tone, and screen tests show full-screen colors only after user interaction.
The app provides links to system settings. Those settings are controlled by Android and the device manufacturer. Its cache cleaning feature only deletes files owned by the app, after confirmation.
Retention and deletion
Local diagnostic history and code-test notes remain on the device until cleared through Android application storage settings or app removal. No personal data is stored on our servers in this version.
Children and security
This is a general-purpose Android diagnostics utility, not designed specifically for children. Do not share your IMEI, serial numbers or sensitive service-menu screenshots publicly. Some diagnostic menus are manufacturer-specific and may not be accessible.
Changes
We will update this policy when app capabilities, permissions or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the currently published policy.
